Urgent Communication

Dear Members,

We have just received an urgent communication from the Irish Government via Golf Ireland dated 24th December.

With immediate effect, golfers playing in groups (2 3 or 4 balls) will be restricted to participants from no more than two households.

At Dunfanaghy Golf Club, in order to comply with Government Level 5 restrictions, the following measures have been implemented with immediate effect:

1. Members only until 12th January 2021
Unfortunately society and visitor bookings have been cancelled.

2. Social golf only. All competitions have been suspended until 12th January.

We will be amending the timesheets on Boxing Day. In order to facilitate this, we would very much appreciate if you could cancel / amend your own bookings to comply with the new "2 household” rule.

With limited daylight hours, and to give as many members as possible access to the course, we would ask that you consider playing in family groups if possible.

We realise that this will have a very significant impact on those wishing to play golf over the festive season but nevertheless we hope you will be able to enjoy safe, social golf.
