It is with deep regret that Dunfanaghy Golf Club wishes to inform you of the passing of Niall Reagan. Niall was such a gentleman, even in ill health he spent so many days around the clubhouse having a chat with people and everyone enjoyed his company so much.
Our deepest sympathy goes to his beloved wife Geraldine (Past Lady Captain) and his family. May he Rest in Peace.
Niall's funeral mass will take place at 11am this Sunday, 2nd February in Glen Church Maghera, Co. Derry (at the bottom of Glenshane Pass).
House is private.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Geraldine and family at this sad time.

Hole in One for Paul Burton at 13th. Paul Burton had a great score of 40 points to win the Club Stableford this Sunday which included a hole in one at the 13th. Paul was very aware that with people heading home on a Sunday evening, not many people could have a drink with him to celebrate. The good news is that Paul will be in the clubhouse next weekend during the Rugby to buy everyone a drink!

This year's Captains' Drive-in was a first in the history of Dunfanaghy Golf Club. Captain Bill McCallion and Lady Captain Paula McCallion are the first husband and wife to be Captains in the same year. Bill hopes that they will still be husband and wife at the end of the year!
The weather was kind and a big crowd made their way to the first tee to witness the Captains' drives which were both long and straight. The traditional Captains' Drive-In scramble followed with very competitive and low scoring. The day was rounded off in the clubhouse with a tasty stew and a prize presentation. We wish our Captains and Presidents every success in the coming year.
