New Members' Scramble

On Friday evening past, Captain Bill and Lady Captain Paula hosted the New Members' Scramble which was played over 14 holes. The purpose of this event was to both thank and welcome new members into Dunfanaghy Golf Club. It was also an opportunity for both existing and newcomers to get to know each other and build up friendships which will hopefully last for many years to come. 

There were 7 teams, each was lead by an existing member and it was Mary Lafferty's team that ultimately won with a cracking score of 40 points (12 under). Mary was ably assisted by James McMullan, Jon Bond and Shaun Doherty. After the Scramble all players enjoyed a fine burger and fries from our caterers One N One.
