Results for Week ending 29th August

The last big golfing event of the summer at Dunfanaghy Golf Club - the Captains’ Charity Day took place last Saturday. The event was raising much needed funds for two mental health charities – ‘CAUSE’ and ‘PIETA’. Open Stableford Competitions were held for both Ladies and Gents alongside the ‘Captains’ Charity Day Hole in One Giveaway’ with a prize of a top of the range Motocaddy Electric Golf trolley for a Hole in One.
When no hole in one was carded, a very generous member who wished to remain anonymous, donated the trolley to the winner of the Nearest the Pin Challenge. Needless to say, the winner went home a happy man!
