The Senior and Intermediate Scatch Cup Competitions took place last Saturday, once again kindly sponsored by McGinley Motors. It really was a game of two halves with round one starting for most golfers with very wet, dreary weather and round two completed in bright sunshine -  a typical Dunfanaghy day!
In spite of the testing conditions scoring was exceptional with Stephen Martin and Donal Boyle finishing on 1 over (137) and could only be separated by Break of Tie in the Senior Scratch Cup.
Tony Griffen had a bit more breathing space in the Intermediate Scratch Cup with a 9 shot margin over Chuck McTaggart in second place. Congratulations to all our winners.
