President Sean hosts Donegal GAA

Our club President, Seán Ferriter, has two keen interests in life; Donegal GAA and Dunfanaghy Golf Club and on Friday 19th July he will bring them both together at Dunfanaghy Golf Club. Seán, a former Donegal footballer and captain, will host a golf classic at the club to help raise funds for the Donegal GAA Senior Team Training Fund.

Special guests on the day will be former Kerry legend and current Sunday Game Panelist, Tómas Ó’Sé, along with a host of former legendary Donegal footballers. Also joining us on the day will be the main sponsor of the event, Cathal Jackson of Copper Face Jacks. 

​After the four ball competition we will have an evening of entertainment in the clubhouse, where we will have a BBQ followed by the presentation of some exciting prizes to include a four ball sponsored by the prestigious golf courses at Carton House, Co Kildare and the Galway Bay Resort in Oranmore, Co Galway. There will also be an auction along with some raffle prizes on the night.

This event is open to both members and non members, so why not come along and enjoy the entertainment in the clubhouse bar that evening where we will have a bit of craic and some GAA banter with our MC Charlie Collins and our special guests. It’s sure to be a great event so please come along and support Seán and Donegal GAA on the day.
