Robyn McConnell's President's Day 21st June 2025

The first Female President’s Day at Dunfanaghy Golf Club was a fabulous success!

The sun shone brightly, spirits were high, and the food—prepared by first-time caterers—was absolutely lovely, especially considering the significance of the occasion.
 
Members and committee members all played their part, generously supplying tray bakes that were enjoyed throughout the day. Only a few treats remained for the Wine and Cheese Evening, which President Robyn hosted for everyone before the presentation ceremony.
 
Prizes were warmly received, with Jill McCorkell winning the Ladies' First Prize and John McGarvey taking home the Men’s First Prize. See Full Results below.
 
The putting competition in aid of Robyn’s chosen charity, K9 Rescue Dogs, was well supported and helped raise valuable funds for a great cause.
 
Entertainment was brilliantly provided by the infamous Knoxy, who kept the party going into the wee small hours.
 
President Robyn extends her heartfelt thanks to everyone who made her day so special—the kind words, cards, donations, and thoughtful gifts meant the world to her. She truly had a ball! All in all, another unforgettable and successful day at DFGC.
