We had great weather over the weekend for the Caravanners Scramble & Classic. Friday evening was great fun with a 14-Hole Scramble followed by a quiz hosted by Deirdre & Paddy Farry. Then on Saturday we had a fantastic turnout for the Classic with 39 Teams taking part.

We would like to thank all our sponsors for their support in this event; thanks to everyone who took part, sponsored tee boxes & donated Competition Prizes, donated prizes for the raffles & bought raffle tickets. All Raffle proceeds, which will be around €1100, are in aid of Donegal Hospice. The Classic proceeds, which will be around €6000, are in aid of the Club's Sheephaven Bay Development Project.

Also, a big thankyou to Paul & his team as the course is in fabulous condition, to Yehor & Danielle in the shop, to Lucas & Max in the bar, to the caterers for keeping us well fed over the weekend. And off course big thanks to Mary for all the work she does to make these events a success.

Prize Giving for Open Week Competitions from Sunday 27th July - Saturday 2nd August took place on yesterday evening. Thank you to our sponsors for supporting these competitions & for the wonderful prizes. It has been a very successful Open Week & a big thanks to Paul & Team for the fabulous course conditions - we've had many positive comments from visitors & members on the great course. Thanks also to all the Club staff for all their hard work over Open Week - it wouldn't happen without you all. Lastly thanks to all you golfers who came along & took part - we hope you enjoyed the week.
