Captain Anthony Gallagher's week of competitions culminated in the main event on Saturday 19th July. Unfortunately the Heavens opened in the afternoon making the course unplayable & the decision was taken to complete the competition & the Playoff on Sunday. The sun came out on Sunday & the Playoff took place on a beautiful evening on the course.

We had three great nights in the club. On Friday evening the popular Scramble took place followed by burgers in bar. On Saturday evening Captain Anthony & his family invited all members to a wine & cheese reception followed by music by the wonderful Knox Wilson. Finally on Sunday evening we had the Prize Giving for the competitions over the week. Captain Anthony thanked everyone for their support & thanked all the club staff who work in the office, shop, bar & course to make these events a success.

A Huge Thankyou to everyone who turned out to support our "Play in Pink" Day on Friday - the course was awash with all manner of Pinks! We had a glorious day & have raised a great sum from the competitions & the raffle for a very worthwhile charity - we will publish the number raised as soon as we have the final figures. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with organising, selling raffle tickets & donating prizes for the raffle. Thanks to our greens staff - the course was in wonderful condition. And thanks to the club staff in the shop & bar for all their help behind the scenes.
