Congratulations to James T Sweeney who has been selected to represent the Ulster U14 boys at the upcoming Interprovincials to be held in Athlone from the 23rd to the 25th July. James has performed consistently throughout the year in a series of boys tournaments held at different venues across the province and thoroughly deserves his place on the six man team. James has been coached by Seamus McMonagle from the time he first picked up a club so congratulations to Seamus for all his expert tuition 

James is joined on the Ulster team by his friend and fellow Dunfanaghy GC member, Darcy Hogg. Darcy won the Ulster U14 Open Championship earlier this summer.

Representing Ulster in the U16 Interprovincials is a third Dunfanaghy member - Luke Kelly. Luke is fresh from his victory in the Ulster U16 Closed Championship last Thursday.

Having 3 Dunfanaghy members in the Ulster Squads is truly amazing - there must be something in the water. Good luck to all the boys on the next step in their rise to the top of the game

Luke played some superb golf against Ross Campbell (Greenacres) in the final of the Ulster Boys U16 Close Championship to become champion. In a tightly fought final the quality of golf was excellent on a superbly presented Dungannon course. Well done Luke.
