From Sunday 3rd November, Richard Bowyer will no longer be providing the catering and bar service at the Club. It is still the intention that the catering and bar service will be franchised next year and members of the Committee will be seeking expressions of interest from prospective franchisees over the next few weeks.
In the meantime a limited catering and bar service will be provided until a suitable franchisee is identified. From Monday 4th November, the service will be provided by current Golf Club staff and catering will consist of soup, sandwiches and light snacks while the bar will be restricted to serving the 3 most popular draught beers - ie Guinness, Tennants and Smithwicks. Other bottled beers will be available.
Opening hours will be as follows:
Monday Closed (Except on senior open competition days)
Tuesday Closed (Except on Ladies Winter Links days)
Wednesday Open 12 noon-4pm
Saturday 12noon to 6pm
Sunday 12 noon to 6pm
The above hours may change from time to time depending on Society bookings and/ or other events.
The Committee appreciate the support of all members in our quest to provide a sustainable level of bar and catering facilities in the club. While we are aware of some interested parties we would appreciate it very much if any of you know of anyone who may be interested to please let us know.
