Due to the Ladies 3-day event taking place this week and the club classic taking place on Saturday we have decided to postpone the nine and dine evening until later in the summer.
As the club classic is our main fundraiser for the year it would be very much appreciated if as many members as possible took part. There are loads of slots available on the timesheet so please get your name down and support our classic. If for some reason you are not available to compete, you can contribute by way of sponsorship or donation to the club. The weather forecast looks promising for the rest of the week so please support our main fundraiser.
The Dunfanaghy Juniors kicked off their season on Sunday at home with a first round Fred Daly Trophy match against Ballybofey.
The matches were played in a competitive and sporting manner, with some great golf and sportsmanship on show from both teams. All matches were tight right until the end, and the young Dunfanaghy team (average age 13) held their nerve to secure a 2.5 / 2.5 half match. All to play for in Ballybofey next Saturday.

This year, for the first time the club are organising two “ Nine and Dine” evenings as a means of getting more people to participate in the club activities. The idea is that we will have a 14 hole four ball better ball competition starting at 4pm on a Friday evening followed by a two course meal in the clubhouse.
The first one is due to take place on Friday 25th May and the hope is that it will be fully supported.
The format is any combination which should allow husband and wife pairings to come along to enjoy the golf the and the meal afterwards.
The cost is €25 per person to cover entry fee and food. Please come along to support this initiative because it has all the makings of a very enjoyable evening.
The Holy Trinity Church Committee would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way to the success of their fundraiser classic on Monday 7th May. A total of €3000 was raised. Well done to all.
